Meet Greer, a junior Sociology major from Douglasville, Georgia. Why did she choose LaGrange? "I grew up going to a small school, so when I came to visit LC, I enjoyed how small the campus was, and the people around campus were so welcoming, even the cafeteria staff. Everyone here really cares about you, wants you to be successful, and will do any and everything they can to get you the help that you need. The people have showed me so much love and appreciation and have been a blessing to me." Greer is active on campus and in the community as a member of Baptist Collegiate Ministries, secretary of Black Girl Magic, and volunteering with The Brown Girl Initiative, a local organization founded by LC alumna Mia Blandingburg '04. After college, she plans to become a college mental health counselor and start her own counseling practice. #LCCloseUp #ExperienceTransformation
